Charles G. Colombo, M.D., is certified by the American Board
of Ophthalmology.
He graduated from Wayne State University
in 1968 with a bachelor in science degree followed by medical
school at the University of Ottawa School of Medicine in Ottawa,
Canada. Dr. Colombo served a one-year internship at Henry
Ford Hospital in Detroit. He then completed a residency in
Ophthalmology at Ottawa General Hospital in Canada.
Dr. Colombo is a fellow of the Royal
College of Surgeons of Canada, the American Academy of Ophthalmology
and is board certified in ophthalmology. His professional
affiliations include the American Academy of Ophthalmology,
the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Michigan
Ophthalmology Society and the Oakland County Medical Society.
Dr. Colombo is on staff at William
Beaumont Hospital, Troy; William Beaumont Hospital, Royal
Oak; and Crittenton Hospital in Rochester.
